Lennonxlove Book Festival

Last Sunday, the 3rd November, I much enjoyed the opportunity to speak to at the Lennonxlove Book Festival about my book on the 14th Duke of Hamilton. All seemed to go quite well despite referring to the Duke as Station Master of RAF Turnhouse instead of Station Commander, a point his son James was quick to spot!

The event was chaired by Harry Reid, ex-editor of the Herald, and the-question-and-answer session attracted a goodly number of questions from an appreciative audience in the Great Hall.

Afterwards, at the book signing session, I encountered a number of ex-Fettes parents, a real pleasure to see them again, before enjoying an excellent dinner courtesy of our hosts.
